Prof. Dr. Mariano P. Barbato is DFG Heisenberg Fellow at Center for Religion and Modernity, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and Professor for Political Science at the University of Passau. Previously he held positions at CAU Kiel, BBU Cluj-Napoca, TU Darmstadt, U Passau, EUI Florence and LMU Munich. His articles have been appeared in: Journal of International Relations and Development, Perspectives. Review of International Affairs, Politics, Religion & Ideology, Review of International Studies, Millennium. Journal of International Studies, Zeitschrift für Internationale Beziehungen, European Political Science Review and others. His last books are Pilgrimage, Politics, and International Relation.
